Experience rural France in a traditional cottage in La Briere regional park whilst being only 30 minutes from the finest beaches in France.
Thatched roofs are a feature of the region and the cottage is a fine example of the local architectural style.
La Chaumiere cottage sleeps four/six and is situated on the Ile de Mazin, close to St Joachim in the Briere regional park, France.
The traditional stable door, shuttered windows and blue and white exterior is complemented here by a fully modernised interior.
The accommodation comprises a large ground floor room with dining table, matching dresser and television. The comfortable sofa converts to a bed to cater for visitors or extra guests.
The lounge leads to a fully-fitted kitchen with a built-in gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A microwave oven and toaster are also available.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one containing a double bed, the other two singles. All the beds have quality mattresses and duvets and all bed linen is provided. The bathroom is also upstairs and has a shower fitment.
Outside is a small garden/seating area where a table, chairs and two 'loungers' are provided.
The cottage has an open fire and chopped logs are available locally. Central heating is available for cooler weather and winter visitors.
There are parking spaces next to the cottage.
